Default Can I use my stock dizzy?

Hello all,

I am new to the forums here, I used to be a member at automotiveforums, but have heard many good things about HT.

Anyway, my question is this (please be gentle, I'm new haha)

I have an 89 CRX Si swapped with a z6, I am doing it the right way. i bought a virgin p28 and a obd0 to obd1 jumper harness. im using the stock a6 dizzy, which i had to fab to fit, i got the timing on. all i need now is a 4 wire o2 correct? or do i actually need the z6 dizzy? are the point different? i put the p28 in my car for ***** and gigs, and it didnt start, granted i didnt hook any of the extra wires from the jumper harness up. im buying a 4 wire o2 later today and im just wondering if this is all I need, or if i infact need the z6 dizzy and connect the wiring from it to my current stock wiring?

thanks in advance,

ryan

YOU NEED the Z6 dizzy!

and yes you can de-pin the plugs to make them work, BUT the order in which they go are different.

search rywire's tech area and do it.

OBD1 ECU requires the use of the OBD1 distributor - OBD0 distributor will not work with P28 ECU
