Default h22 @10k rpm?

ok so here is the deal, Im in the air force, and i just got back from pakistan, I left my car with my roommates, and last night i was playing with my apexi rev/speed meter. so i come accross my max rpm, and the **** say that it got up to 10,097rpm. I know this is bad. stock internals ect. how can i check to see if everyting is all good.. .........any info would be good for me.

i didnt think it was allowed, the ecu is NOT chipped either. compression is good too. i checked the other day

it (motor)sounds fine, now im thinking that that rev/speed meter was phukin up. i hope. i just talked to him and he said it wasnt him. hmm.. i dunno waht to think

It had to be a missed shift to rev that high...the first thing to go would prolly be your valves...as long as they aren't making any noise, the motor should be aiight. Some people experience different things go wrong in the tranny when they miss a shift so as long as it feels fine and goes into gear alright, I wouldn't sweat it.

maybe it was put on a motorcycle or something and then put back on your car...doubt it, but it's a possibility!...
