Why? I would first test drive it and give it a good inspection before jumping to conclusions.

OP test drive it and take it to a trusted mechanic. worst case you get a free ride in a s/c s2000.

 

do a compression check to make sure all cylinders are good and listen for grinds and weird noises from the tranny. do the usual inspection. the mods are clean. im sure you can talk about the price and lower it. nice car
