i have a 01 civic, and i wanna move my deck to the lower level on the dash kit (original was on the top)
what dash kit should i buy? or i have to custom it?

its gonna be a custom job. there are no kits out, to my knowledge, that will mount it down low. I have definately seen it done tho

I haven't seen a kit that will allow you to do that. You could probably use a double-din install kit and customize it to your liking, or get really creative and break out the fiberglass and bondo.

 

the only way ive ever seen it done was someone used a single din cage and used fiberglass, bondo, and a sh*tload of expanding foam. It definately looked like a TON of work. the only thing i gata know is if youre using the stock location for a carputer!!?
