QC's last decent Ef Sedan - Timeline = lots of pictures.
Wow I've been stealth-trolling this site for several months now... I thought it was time to share with you guys where all my poor student *** money all went throughout the last few years.
SO...
I've had this car for like 5 years now if I recall correctly. My girlfriend and I shared and abused it throughout our CEGEP years (that's what college is here where I live).
It has known the rough+salty winters we go through also. Therefore, it got rusty and I had to get the quarters rebuilt eventually 'cause they were just crumbling apart.
It was initally an automatic with 134, XXX original kilometers, grand-ma owned, so a rare find here in Québec. Hatchies are pretty comon since some old farts owned Si(s); pampered and garage kept them until one of us youngsters grabbed it from them. This is not the case for sedans. Sedans here are just piles of ****/rust rotting in scrapyards.
Anyways, my long awaited dream came true last summer as I had accumulated enough funds to buy me some manual-transmisioned vehiculation. The new heart was a not-so-healty DOHC ZC that came from a JDM CRX Si. The good thing with this swap is that I converted the car to PGMFI, and the tranny was a beloved ZC transmission with a stage 1 Exedy clutch and an OEM flywheel lightened to 12lbs. What I can say is that this **** is hard on my left leg, but the ratios are so short that it's awesome to drive (ZC trannys are the best!).
Summer goes, rings go bad on the engine, oil pisses everywhere it wants under the hood, and worst of all, a non-insured jackass puts a huge-*** dent on my right side.
Therefore, I go eff it and get it repaired, AND put a new engine in there. It's another DOHC ZC, but from a 92-95. The engine is what you people call a "freak engine" since it's pretty old but has very low mileage. I don't have the pictures yet as of when my mechanic took a peek under the VC, but he said he had never seen an engine as clean as this one. Well, lucky me I guess. Oh, and the engine was from an auto, so it probably had never seen any abuse, but who knows.
This winter I bought a K-Sport coilover kit. It's worth something like 1200$ on teh internetz, but I paid roughly 570$ for it (including gas to go get it) new, because the crazy kid selling it had to pay a big pile of tickets. So I got lucky on that one too.
Using tax refund, I bought 4 Falken Azenis RT615 plus some Ray's engineering extended lugnuts AND an Energy Suspension Master kit.
That is pretty much it for now. On to the life-line pics.
These are the first pictures I took of it, some of them are useless, but might as well share it all!

Afterwards I pimped the **** out of my D15! (sarcasm goes here). Also, notice the X eletric tape on my headlights, what the f was I thinking?

Then I got my car crashed by a ****tard.

This was taken at our "JDM Monday Meets" at a performance shop pretty much everyone knows in Montreal's whereabouts.

Snow right in the middle of spring.... !

And an extra; my partner in crime.

Those two photos were taken by a good photographer and do the car much more justice than my crappy camera skills.

My seat covers for now because they were starting to get a bit worn after almost 20 years of asses sitting and rubbing on them

This is the heatshield that I had bought/modded for the stupid way too short ram intake. It's been replaced by something else. I'll show you guys later, but I thought I'd share this just for kicks.

That's it for now, a little update coming soon. Thanks for looking!

Thanks man, I appreciate your input :D.
Here is a small update.
My very short ram was recently replaced with this intake which did not fit my car at all. I had asked the guy multiple times if it was for a D-series engine, and if it would fit my chassis. Long story short, I drive a while to get that POS.
Anyhoozle, I spent the morning cutting out the breather tube and sanded the eff out + cleaned all of the rubbers and "collars".
Here is what it looked like before I got down to it:

Here is the after with a touch of paint and a sticker to cover up the sensor's hole which I did not have either. There is also a bandaid sticker on the back to aesthetically enhance the other plugged up hole. I didn't want to mess up the intake tube, so I simply put some metal duct tape over the holes, which I cut in circular pieces to fit + look better. It worked out great IMO.

P.S.: I know that the intake is the wrong way up. I noticed that after taking the pictures and moved it back to it's correct position.

Aight so not much people give a crap about this old Honda... I know that it's not all K-powered and shizzle, but this is because I wanted to keep in the D-series family, and because I wanted to be "different". Sure it's slow... Hey, it's still a good drive though!
I'll still share what I'm awaiting to arrive in the mail next week or the one after depending on the mail's speed. This might awaken some interest in my ongoing project.

This is a decent shifter which should be a good upgrade from my shitty Ebay shifter that is crumbling apart.
I read on other websites that it's about the best that you can get if you can afford the hefty 199 USD$ that it costs... I paid 256 CND$ shipped to my address.
I also already have a brand new OEM lower shifter rod which will replace the old mushy one whose bushings are giving up.
I will post pictures once all of this is installed.
Thanks for watching!
Oh, and BTW this is a Fast Line Performance Race Shifter if anybody is wondering what brand it is. Look it up on heeltoeauto.com or the 'net, it's awesome.
