OK I have a 97 civic lx with y8 swap car is bogging at 4500 rpms at full throttle, if I barely hit the gas it revs fine but if I punch it it only revs to 4500 any help would be greatly appreciated

New parts:

Spark plugs
Plug wires
Ignition coil
Distributor cap
Rotor button
Vtec solenoid
Vtec pressure switch
Knock sensor

Car is not throwing any check engine light help please!!!!

Gonna try to change fuel filter and pump today

Does the CEL work?

Replacing the fuel filter seems like a good idea.

 

Changed my fuel filter, fuel pump, injectors, fuel rail, and fuel pressure regulator it fixed my problem
