EK Factory Window Tint
Ah alright. I was always unsure as I've seen many tinted as well as many untinted.
But I should've known, after seeing the tint begin chipping that it wasn't factory.
No one would happen to know of any aftermarket companies that make glass pre-tinted, would they? (I'm not talking about a layer of tint on the inside of the glass. I'm morely looking for glass tinted from within.)

Some Civics in Japan had bronze tint within the glass. Other US models did too, but never Civics. You'll often see older Acuras (like Legends) with this type of tint in the states.
Yeah, I know what you're saying. I just thought there might be some other place. Back to google I go.
It sucks living in a cop state with these tint laws, however, if they were "factory" or what wasn't peelable it wouldn't be an issue.

SUVs come with dark tint (on the rear) in the US, not sport compact cars.
Since it wasn't available in the US then they're just not supposed to be tinted so dark.
You can either don't do it or risk it and peel it off / accept a ticket and then peel it off when you get yelled at for it.

I think almost all new vehicles (from every car company) come with this type of tinted glass. If you read the fine print on the windows it usually will say "tinted" even though the tint is not dark enough to be noticed.
