Default DIY Rear cover for crx/extra transport

Well I didn't want to pay 80 bucks for a used spare tire cover/utility cover and I wanted a way that if i had to, I could transport more than one person...as illegal as that sounds, a crx is a death box either way.

So, to get started you will need:

-your choice of board, I chose like 1" thick plywood, pretty strong kind of expensive for a sheet at Home Depot, ran me 26$ MDX might hold strong, but I wanted to be safe if people might be back there. The board has to be a minimum of 43"x46"

-2 yards of material of your choosing from Hobby Lobby/Michaels. (8.50$)

-2 Hinges (3$)

-Heavy Duty Stapler, had to buy one(17$/3$ Staples)

- Table saw, measuring tape, pen, straight edge, all the rest of the tools needed you can figure out with a little common sense.

Now this was the best I could come up with, you can see what areas could use a little more but, it fits snug and it doesn't move at all. Very happy with it, I wanted to sleep on it yesterday lol, ya know watch the moonlight with a big pillow...however I am 6 foot tall and not 8 anymore

It actually rests just perfect on the plastic paneling.

Not much of a DIY but I could def have used the measurements to speed things up when I did it/good baseline to improve off of if you want a cleaner cut to match at least.

Nice!

Take the passenger seat out and you have a moving van.
