Just general words to all US Honda drivers
Man I wish I´m there in US! But insted I´m in Croatia, small country at Adriatic Sea.Everyone here talks about German and Italian cars, and you can by anything for it. But I like Japanese cars, especially Honda. So, several years ago I bought my first Honda Civic HB´91, 1.4, 16V, 90HP. Man it felt great! Small Japanese car was flaying through my town (Split). Year later I bought ´93 Civic HB, 1.3, 75HP.
It looked to me like a car from out of space!! I fall in love with this car, but it was a little slow for me. Sell it and bought a ´88 Prelude 2.0i, 16V, 140HP.Now that was a machine. Unfortunatly rust attack the car body, so I sell it and now own Civic ´93 HB, LSi, 90HP.AGAIN!!! I don´t have much money to do any modification on it yet, but I will, I hope!! Although I don´t have place to buy things to do modification. (Nearest is in Austra).
Anyway, I just want to tell you that the Hondas are my cars for life, and I´m glad to see that so manny Americans are fond of it!!
Man I wish I´m in the USA.
Keep flaying, duds!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1.4 Liter?? you sure it wasnt 1.5L on the 91 hb? but hey, its nice to hear you like hondas. i like them too. i love my honda. what do you have planned for mods?
Ya, england and some other european countries had 1.4 engines. When I went to england, I stoped by a local honda dealership and they had this yellow EK hatch. It was conpletely yellow (molding etc) It was four lug though, and had "Jordan" Stickers on it instead of "type r". The seats were yellow and black leather. I got the associate there to pop the hood for me and it had the same engine from the civic si coupe here in the states. I would still love to have a EK hatch with an OEM DOHC VTEC engine. It was nice. Many countries dont have strict emissions like the US, so a 1.4 engine would be justs as quick over there. I wish I could take my rex to GB.

Just stay on this site as much as possible you'll learn a lot...I know I did...and I can understand about the german and italian car thing...my cousin married a Croatian, his name is Stevo...he's a pretty nice guy but he always drove VW's...he had a GTi for a while...and if you want performance...it may be more worthwhile for you to just get an engine swap rather than try and import performance parts from the US...do a search on engine swaps and see what you can find...best of luck and welcome to the family.
Ahh...Croatia. Split is a beautiful city man. I was just there and in Bol a couple weeks ago. Too many toursists, though! All Italian chicks and all they wanted was Italian dudes
No room for dudes like me.
But anyways, yeah, all the Europeans talk about is the Volkswagens, they think they are God's gift to car guys. They appreciate the Japanese cars, but are still all about the VWs.
By the way, let me tell you something....USA is a great country for money and therefore cars. But, if I had to take the 90% pay cut to live in your Croatia, or the 80% pay cut to live in my country (Poland), I would. In fact, that's my future plan! Ask anyone who's been in Europe and taken full advantage of it. The lifestyle can't be beat!
The poorer the country, the more beautiful the women and the more they know how to have fun. Did you guys know that every self-respected city in Euope has a town sqare, or something of the sort? A place with no traffic where you can sit down in one of many bars, outside, under a big parasol, and drink a beer
like a human being while watching the pretty ladies walk by! It seems to take a city of at least 4 million people in the US to pull off anything close to that!
That's all I really want...the town square, the beer
in my hand, and the pretty girls walking by. Oh, and the +200hp crx. Unfortunately these don't mix....
Sorry for the rant.....
