Weren't you trying to sell that civic for $2k a week ago or so? I would probably keep it, it would look pretty decent with a paint job. Although I like Sols, I think having one would be fun.
yea i wanted to sell it but then i decided to keep it.....i need to paint it for sure
I like my del sol.. and if people wanna go somewhere I make them drive their car lol. Saves me the gas and the trouble.
I thought about getting a civic before I got it, but I'm really glad to have gone with a sol. I guess you can say its unique?

From: TRILLINOIS....WAY downtown, jerky.
The Del sol's interior is a lot nicer. The 2 seater thing can be kind of a buzz kill sometimes. The 96+ civic's exterior styling is better IMO.
id go with a del sol bro... there are WAYYY to many civics all around the country. Del sol on the other hand just a hand full id say. i have a 300 + Hp Evo i own and i realize my sol isnt a monster on the street, it feels damn good driving around on a nice day out with the top off and just cruising.

Yea remember cruising in my sol...the civics nice I feel like you can do more mods to the civic then the del sol den again idk I haven't really seen many fixed up del sols
like you said, with civics you have options to make it how YOU want.. yes, del sols are nice to cruise and chill in, but what if you dont wanna? del sols arent as "customizable" as civics.. i guess thats what im tryin to say lol
Guess what, the del sol has better handling. The wheel base is different then the civic.
93 Del Sol Si vs 00 Civic Si. 93 Del Sol has only a lowering kit (kyb gr2's with slip-over coilovers) and a stock front tower bar...........and the 00 Civic Si has kyb agx's with rear suspension component upgrades (tie bar, rear sway bar, front and rear tower bar).
When turning a corner, the Del Sol can take it faster and harder then the 00 Si without losing rear end grip.
My buddy's off ramp from the highway to his house, he took it at 45 and the rear end swung out, I took it right behind him, 45, and I was able to grip the whole way through with my Del Sol. Now that's awesome, and the Del Sol has less suspension upgrades.
If you want superior handling, Del Sol is the way to go, if you want to give you friends rides because their broke *** can't afford their own car or gas, then keep the Si.
My sol doesn't even have a passenger seat, no free rides with this top dog, hell no. I used to catch rides with people, pay cash for gas, show my respect, got my car, friend lost his, gave him rides, he never paid me gas money, so **** free rides..........
