Default need help with main relay/fuel pump relay

ok as of yesterday this is the 2nd time the main relay or fuel pump relay has gone out. its the one located to the right of the glove box. you have to remove the glove box to get to it. i noticed last week that my car was taken a little bit longer to start so i figured it just needed a tune up. change the plugs maybe. but then the next day my battery was dead completly. the same thing happened to me back in march. does anybody know what could be causing this to keep going out? it was a new relay i had put in. it should have lasted way longer then 3 months.

dont know if it makes a difference but its a civic 96 dx hatch
