Default twin cooling fans

hey guys i just ordered a new aluminum radiator with 2 slim fans for my b16 swap, plugging the one up is simple i know, but what about 2, i dont want it the toast the wireing and anything else for that matter because of to much draw, i was thinking about wiring em in together but im not sure how the relay will take it, any suggestions? thanks.

How much amp does the OEM one draw? How much does one aftermarket draw? Muliple times 2, if it's lower then OEM, give it a go on running them parallel. Otherwise, beef up the relay. If it's way out of spec, think about the wiring. You wouldn't want them melting.

well thats what i was thinking but i have know idea what the specs on the oem relay and fans are, and cant find em anywhere.

If you have a DVM/DMM use that - splice it into the + line going to the fan. Use amp setting to measure current.

DVM = Digital Volt Meter
DMM = Digital Multi Meter

Same thing.

If you don't have a meter, get one. Not expensive and good to have in toolbox.

One like this from Sears will work fine: Morris 57030 Dmm - and are under $25.00.

I Had two fan as well, I just plug them on where ever the stock one before, one for the ac, and one connected to the thermostat, but I keep it run all time, been 6 month, no problem.
