Whining sound from the rear end at idle!
Hello, I have a 2003 S2000 with 40,000km on it. At idle, the car is making a noticeable whining sound from the rear end once it warms up. The sound doesn't seem to get louder or softer with acceleration/deceleration and stays constant while the car is warm (it only greatly lessens in intensity if I let the car sit for a while and then drive it again - once the car cools down)
This car has only seen Honda and Swepco gear oil more recently. I'm stumped and was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the issue. Thanks in advance!

It would probably help if we could somehow get a better idea of what sound it's making. Can you post of video or sound clip of it?
