Alright guys well last week I was looking to buy a 5 speed virgin p28 ecu. So i get a pm from this guy 02ep35lug so I text him . He tells me he has a virgin p28 out of his civic ex that he parted out long ago.

I meet up with him the ecu looks fine reads 37820-p28-A02 . I think everything is cool . Then I get home open it up and i notice that this ecu is not even vtec it just appeared to be .Its missing the trans-lots IC14 and IC13

So pretty much this guy just swapped the whole circuit board and threw in one from a P06. The only thing that was p28 was the casing.All he says now is That its a Virgin p28 bla blah blahh. I told him 60 bucks is a good deal if it really was a P28. All he says is" vtec worked right when I had it in my car" .. I would be happy If the ecu worked and he would not be hearing from me .

I know this guy has no intention of giving me My hard earned cash back . I just want to warn anybody who might in the future deal with this guy. He is a scammer and he frequents this forum often usually through pm . One thing
that is pretty dumb is why rip off your neighbor we are obviously going to run into each other one day .

same thing sorta happened to me from an old member. sold him a good working chipped p28. from a RUNNING car. sold it to him. he called me a scammer. i returned his money. and i tried the ecu out on my car and it didnt work. i got burned..
