Jackson vs. Comptech need info
i emailed procivic about this since i noticed they dont carry the jackson SC. here is the reply i got:
Well, we just prefer the CT kit overall. Initially the Jackson kit did not have CARB certification and only had one tuning solution the "XEDE" witch we aren't too fond of as well as the choice in fuel system isn't our favorite either because it can cause a rough idle using suck large injectors.
that was in march

Ok Comptech has a stg1 and stg2 Jackson doesnt. Comptech Stg1 comes with a warranty but has a 3.6 pulley which is good for 5-6 psi. And if you want more power you void the warranty of the supercharger as far as upgrading the pulley. Comptech also uses newer version of the eaton mp62 than the jackson kit does. But that really doesnt matter, The jackson racing kit comes with a 3.2 pulley which is good for ~10psi between the two kits there isnt all that much difference besides the jackson kit is 10psi standard where you have to order the stage 2 comptech. I think to be honest choose the one that your more comfortable with and whichever one gives the gains you are looking for. I have the jrsc kit with reflash for now and its great.

Ive always been a big fan of the Jackson kits. I had one on my previous car. In reality most superchargers function the same: Jackson and Comptech use a roots style supercharger. Powerdyne, Paxton, and Vortech use a shaft driven compressor.
I ran up to 520whp with 650cc injectors but I was maxed out. I thought the supercharger kits only went up to 250 to 300whp? Wouldn't 370 or 440 injectors be good enough?
I thought injectors were like clutches. You only want just enough to cover your mods, that way you keep your drivabilty.
But to stay on topic, I have heard good reviews for the CompTech supercharger and hardly any from the Jackson Racing unit, so my preference is with CT.
