what about some adjustable cam gears and good tuning for my single cam vtec? run more? gain HP? some comment pls, i got intake, headers, rebuild head with more compression, some help pls good and bads everything is acceptable thanks

On an SOHC engine you will see minimal gains adjusting cam timing because you are not able to adjust valve overlap. IMO the money is better spent elsewhere

SOHCs take alot of money to make them a worthy contender. Maybe a stage 1 cam might net you 8-10 hp, but you wont feel it. Why not throw a 50 shot on it for power on demand and fuel economy?

we my car is fast for be a single cam stock, the thing is i race a prelude with h22a4 and it bit me for a car and i want race more, i have to take out my cat, it will help? what else can i do for be a little more quick? opinions pls

gut the interior?
higher flow exhaust?
BOTTLE! < even a 25 shot will help your prelude tendencies.
use an Intake mani gasket to keep the mani cooler.
change the stock intake mani for a better flowing one.
preludes are heavy, so its no wonder you kept up.

thanks i swich already my intake manifold gasket, so the next thing i will do is take out my cat, what about ebay cat?

check it dont get one off ebay.. i have one and they will throw your o2 check engine light on and ur vtec will turn off because of it than you will be going uuber slow lol.. anyways for a y8 i do suggest you get some o2 extenders off ebay so you can run a exhaust with obd2

? You just said yourself to stay away from Ebay. And I know his Y8 isn't fast firsthand. I own a Y8 mini - me.
