Icon6 b16a internals

i took apart my b16 today and found a bearing shredded to pieces. is there a crank that will work besides the stock one? i know i can't go to autozone and get SiR parts so i need a place to get jdm parts for cheap. Can i use rod and main bearings out of a different usdm engine? i did do a search but couldn't find anything in the FAQs. I really am on a budget so high dollar aftermarket parts are out of question.

If you found a bearing shreaded to peices there is a 99.99999999% chance that you now need some machine work. There is a reason that your bearing spun, scored, pit, whatever it did. I'm not saying that you couldnt get away with popping in some new $20 topline bearings but honestly it's not going to last. If you don't know what you're doing building a bottom end, do yourself a BIG favor and just save the $$ until you can afford to do it right. You will be much much happier in the long run

Also, if your crank got scored or gouged (i'm assuming thats why you're asking about replacing it?) If it not completely screwed you can actually take it to a machine shop and have the journals turned down. As long as your marks arent more than .30" I think. Then you will just buy different sized bearings.
