more damage can come out of running too lean, but sometimes the best results come from leaning out fuel

Yes it will rob some hp because essentially you are bogging the engine with unburnable fuel. Any of you tech guys jump right in.

all hondas run semi-rich at WOT. Running rich can rob power but is better then running too lean. Running lean can just destroy your engine but a tuned lean out can pick up some very good power.

varies by the car. Some cars like to run rich, some cars like to run lean. only way to find out is on the dyno.

Most NA cars run best on the richer side, about 12.8-13:5 A/F ratio. IT does depend on the car, but running lean can cause detonation which can cause you to say goodbye to your motor. Knock Knock on your motor = bad

Someone once told me that VTEC likes it lean...you have a v-afc so you can control the whole fuel curve....go to AEBS for your tuning...I dont think Enginuity give you the max power your car will give you...

go to the dyno and find out, but my experince is that just before lean is best, too lean and you burn up stuff, too rich and you just lose some hp...if you dont have access to a wb o2 sensor and a dyno, i wouldnt mess w/it or keep it to the rich side till you can tune it correctly

It has been tune by Enginuity but I say their tuning sucks they probably didn't tune it at all or something thats why i'm here for advice and tryin to butt dyno or compare their settings with others somewhat...... Well, my vtec point is set at 5000 throttle position is set at Lo 10% Hi 50%. Is the vtec crossover too high?? What should the throttle position should be....My mods are I/H/E vafc fpr advance 18°... Their settings was.. Did they lean out way too much with just those MODS?
Wide Throttle:
LvT: 1000 2000 3000 4000 5000 5500 6000 6500
0 -3 -3 -3 -3 -3 -4 -4
HvT: 4000 4500 5000 5500 6000 7000 8000 9000
-3 -3 -3 -3 -3 -4 -4 -5
Vtec: 5000rpm Throttle position: Lo 10% Hi 50%

Rich is always better. Lean can cause detonation which can ruin your motor. Best to get an air/fuel computer and get it dyno tuned.

Rich mixture has a lessened chance of detonation, but will rob some power if the fuel is not burned, the thinkg is, this is where you get into head design and its impact on the homogenity of the mixture, the more homogenous the mixture is, the more fuel you are allowed to burn, the more power you make.
