I thought this was neat, i've done it before for fun and I thought I would share. Im a little hesitant though...
Basically you use this 2d sandbox engine called 'Phun' and you get a stock photo ( like the s2k in the screenie ) and you can shoop in the wheels you want. You have to do some tinkering to get it to roll though, but still a kind of better test than just your picture sitting still
You can put hinges where the wheels are, and you can put the 'motor' option on one of the hinges ( rear wheel, front wheel ) and use the arrow keys.

Quick rundown/how-to
Find pictures
make a square box
make the texture of the box the image you want
scale it, cut out the excess ( make a render of the photo = cut out all of the background )
make your wheels the same way
I'm still experimenting with how you line up the wheels but if you just want to quickly see how it looks you can just black out the wheel wells and put your wheels inside two light-black circles ( tires ) and call it a photoshop and be happy with it, good enough for the imagination.
or you can figure out how to set the different pieces of the car and tires to a certain collision letter, set them in groups, and fixating them together.
If anyone needs help, I may be able to help. But just keep tinkering.
If anyone thinks this is retarded - probably.

i did a poor job on the latest one ( that eg sedan ) i spent 5 minutes looking for the pictures, and another hour trying to get it to work how i wanted it. but its close enough for me to picture it ( i must have no imagination )...

Maybe we can get a bunch of *.phd's with different colors of honda/acuras and wheels if anyone cares and make it easy to mix and match.
