do i need a jumper harness and where do i get a jumper harnes for my 89 ef b-series swap??

No, use your stock harness as long as it's set up for mpfi (4 injectors).

he's going to need a jumper harness if he needs to run an obd1 ecu.

op: you can get jumper harnesses from numerous websites, including eBay. i recommend rywire myself though. i got mine through them and it's a great product.

if you are running an ls though for example then you do not need to convert to obd1. you can run it with an obd0 pr4.
