I've tested spark plugs, they are receiving power and sparking.
I've tested the fuel lines at the filter, no fuel.
The starter is working, it cranks.
However, it just will not run.
No power at the fuel pump either.
This is on an 89 DX hatchback...
Next step is testing the main relay.
Anything I'm over-looking?
Checked fuses too, unless there is a hidden fuel-pump relay or something.

 

Have you tried tapping on the main relay? It may have broken solder joints in it making an intermittent connection.

If not, anyone sure if the main relay from a 90 Si will work in my 89 Dx?

Look at the relay physically, there are only a couple of different types throughout all the models and years, mostly look at the wire harness configuration more than the relay configuration between the two cars, dont worry about wire colors, look at the pins being used, someone will look the parts listing up for you maybe.

Look at the part number on the two relays, quick check.
