RCA/Entended Balljoint and top hat conflict?
I have searched... alot and can find nothing... I have Koni/GC setup with tophats and am wondering if I use extended balljoints AKA RCAs if they are going to conflict? My theory is that the space used to lower the LCA is going bring the strut that much further from the mount, over extending the strut. Is my theory F***ed? Does anyone have rcas AND tophats? if so an issues? Thanks

I've actually been thinking about this a bit for the last day or so. I'd like to know how tall the RCA's are and what the exact motion ratio is from the strut fork mount to the lower ball joint hole on the control arm. From there it should be easy to figure out how much travel its going to add to the shock. I get the feeling its only going to be about .5"-.75" or so. And how tall are the top hats? Aren't they only like 1" high? In that case it seems like you're taking away about the same amount of droop that you add by lowering the car to a height that most poeple shoot for anyway...
Thought more about it. Adjusting the perches to a lower position should take up the slack. giving better angle to the suspension and keep it low profile.
