Default supertech valvesprings with stock valves?

hi i was wonderings if i can use the supertech valves springs with the stock valves and retainers. most improtantly the valves. i am planning on running the skunk 2 stage 3 cams. would it be safer to use steel or titanium retainers.?

If your valves have high mileage on them, replace them and look into having a valve job done and have your valve to guide clearances checked while you're at it. You can run the supertech springs but you should also use their retainers as they are designed to give you extra clearance between the valve seals and retainer. Use the supertech valve locks (keepers) as well, they are better than stock.
