Asking $7600, looking to sell ASAP because I found an s2000 I am going to buy. Most clean title IS300s are going for around $10k on craigslist.

needs an allignment, check engine is on for 4th o2 sensor (after the cat so doesnt affect driving)

Not a bad price at all! I loved driving my friend's IS, other than the fact that his is Yellow. They're fun cars to drive, with plenty of power.

 

Why is it so hard to find a manual transmission for the IS300?

 

yeah i love the car, great for picking up the ladies in haha, only reason Im selling is because my buddy is giving me a deal on his s2000 because he is moving to europe in 2 weeks, hopefully I can sell soon !

 

the manual is300 has horrible feedback, plus its a luxury car, gotta go auto :p

 

BTW: the 2002 is300 is rated 2/5 by JD Power for initial mechanical quality. 2002 3-series was rated 4/5. so much for lexus reliability...

^^My buddy went from a 325i to the IS which he's had for almost 5 years without any mechanical problems at all. As long as you treat it well, it will do so in return. I swear he was always fixing that annoying BMW, and it wasn't cheap.

Bump for a great deal, compared to many others in the NW price-wise.

 

Yeah, My friend has had his for almost 5 years now, and the only thing to ever give him a problem was some O2 sensor that threw a code, but didn't affect drivability. He replaced it finally, and it didn't make a bit of difference. Good reliable cars from what I've seen of them.

 

yeah there are 4 o2 sensors on the car, 2 post cat that dont effect driveability. mine has a bad one too, thinking about replacing it if this thing doesnt sell here soon

 

Yeah that's the only problem I had with my is300 and I've put close to 60k on it in the last 3 years! Bump for a good deal! I want it but I don't want to have two of the same color cars lol
