Well ive been having alot of stuttering problems with my b18b in my eg. Havent been able to pinpoint it since its random. Sometimes it does it alot. And sometimes it doesnt. So its kind of hard to reproduce the problem. So i have this spare ignition coil laying around but was curious as to them being diffirent. I believe it came off a perfectly working D series engine. I removed it off the dizzy cuz i used and external coil..(long story dont ask).

So can anyone tell me if b series and d series ignition coils are the same?

 

z6 obd 1 LS and obd1 jdm b16a are all the same, I don't have any expierence with other b's or d's.

I am using a coil from a D16Y7 in my OBD1 B16A right now, but I can't say for sure if all B and D series coils are the same.

External coils are gay. They suck and have no purpose on a stock *** ls with bolt ons.
