Default Accord wont start when warmed up after being turned off...

I have a 94 accord EX. NEW STARTER so I know thats not the problem and GOOD BATTERY. Just stating simple things before we get started.
OK so my problem is when I drive my car around and its warmed up I turn it off go to start it again and it wont start. The starter is clicking so thats not the issue, and no CEL or dash lights on. It DOESNT make a wawawa sound or anything like that when trying to start it. Just doesnt make any sound beside the starter clicking. It eventually always ends up starting back up eventually though. Drives me crazy.
ANY SUGGESTIONS??? I know how to work on cars so you can be straight forward. thanks for your time

x2 ICU(ignition control unit) aka ignitor. It's a component inside the distributor.
Also check your battery + & - wires and their connections, make sure they are clean and tight.

I had a 90 Accord which did the same thing (drive a short distance turn car off come back sometimes minutes later and the car would not start - however it would start after waiting a few minutes.) I thought it was the ignition module and replaced but that wasn't the problem with my car. Then I checked the ignition coil which sits adjacent to the ignition module inside the distributor. If you check the ignition coil's primary and secondary resistance with a meter and if it's not within spec than that most likely is the problem with the car. The fix cost me 180 (130 for the wrong fix - ignition module and 50 for the right one - ignition coil). But before go out and buy parts like I did do ensure proper connections as mentioned earlier. I learned the hard way that you always opt for the cheapest solution first. I hope this helps. Good luck and let us know what the problem was when solved.

If you hear a click from the starter solenoid but the starter doesn't turn your problem lies in the starting circuit. And, since you hear a click from the solenoid you know that circuit is good. I would perform a voltage drop on the positive cable going to the starter.

I had the same problem and so have many others with similar year Honda Accords. This usually happens in warm weather. I just had the problem fixed today. The problem is the main power relay switch. It's a small box that sits way up under the drivers side dash, to the left of the steering wheel. The mechanic at first could not find it and had to use a mirror to see it hiding behind other hardware and wires. The switch shuts off the Injectors when you turn off the key. The bad switch heats up and won't open until it cools off. The location of the switch makes it hard to get any air to it. The switch needs to be replaced. It cost me $115.00 parts and labor. Good price to not be stuck.

Wondering if someone one can help me out a few weeks ago my '94 accord ex began to act up like the starter was out so I replaced it with no luck, although when I jumped the starter wires she fired up. So I thought it was my ignition switch and starting it this way would not be a problem untill I got a hold of the money. Then two weeks later it's acting like the fuel pump is out but when getting towed home I dumped it in second and she strated up after about a 30 sec parked it and let it run for 15 mins. The next day nothing again. So I want to replace the fuel pump but I want to check the main relay fisrt so what clicks am I looking for?? Also before when it was working fine it would click when the CEL would go off but now it its not doing it. Did I just answer my own question??? If you read all of this Thank You very much and please help me.
