Spring rates for a Daily/autox
Depends how far you drive daily. When I drive on the weekends it's perfect, but my car has been more of a weekend warrior because of those exact spring rates.
My friend was runing 12k 10k as a dd, wasnt the best setup for him as he drove 80 miles a day and rarly raced it, but some people can take higher spring rates for a dd.
I run 10k 8k and its stiff, but not too bad.

if you're going to autocross see if you can get 10k/10k that's really the upper limit of what works on the street without getting dangerous in rough pavement. it also will rotate better in autocross. it's probably going to be a little touchy if you come in hard to a descending elevation sweeping corner just don't pull the front hard and you shouldn't have too much trouble with the back wanting to come out from under you.
Tire size and profile can also change the feel of harshness. Low profile is less absorbing and gives harder ride for same spring rates. You could have street tires and rims, and autox.

i run 11k front and 16k rear on my ef daily. it's an autox build though.
Your dampers are going to determine who good of a ride you have, and how high of a rate you can go with.
If you are runnin an off the shelf shock, then you won't be able to go with more than say 10k or so (about 400-500lb springs).
And the roads where you will daily drive - are they smooth or full of potholes and crap?

you can't have both, the setup that rotates easy in autocross will pop the back around in a high speed sweeping turn. a good compromise is something like 9k in the front and 8k out back. that's roughly 500/450
Nah, that's not necessarily true.
Like I said, I'm running 11k front and 16k rear - that's about 500 front and 800 rear.
I also have a Suspension Techniques rear swaybar and I run that on the softest setting on the street. *(I also run a stock si front swaybar.)
It is very neutral, and honestly no oversteer on the street.
I have about 2 degrees of negative camber all around.
For autox, I simply run a 225 or 205 in the rear and oversteer amazingly.
I can also put the rear swaybar on full stiff to fine tune my setup.
