Default new to the tuning side of hondas

whats up guys, as some of you may know(in my other threads) i do alot of mechanical wrenching on my car as well as other peoples cars. but it seems over the span of time i have collected alot of parts for my car, but have not looked into this section of purchasing parts for my car.

here is a helpful list of what i have and plan on buying in the near future:

-BLOCK: B18B1, bdl block guard, gsr block girdle, 81.5mm pistons, acl bearings, gsr crank, eagle rods(gsr), arp head studs, arp mainstuds, type r oil/water pump ported, ati super dampener, and yada yada yada the works

-HEAD 97 spec gsr head, FULLY PORTED POLISHED, 3 angle vavle, seats redone, gsr cams(for now), rc 1k's, victor-x or sk2(not sure yet), ram horm mani, some aftermarket t/b, supertech flat faced black nitrade coated valves, itr lma's and valvetrain, vented v/c, some sort of msd setup, possible cam trigger kit, cam gears of some sort, bnnen industries fuel rail, as well as fpr, gauge, turbonetics 50 trim 63 hot side 5 dolt turbo, and obviously waste gate/bov.

i will be running one of my own custom assembled transmissions and some sort of clutch setup. i will also be running this setup in a ef hatch. i am looking to get 400 or 450 out of this setup on stock sleeves and as a daily driver. i know i want the ease of maintaining my cars health when needed, as well as wanting launch controll, rpm limiter, mph limiter, overheating notifications, 2 step, and being able to tune while in the car.

which type of setup should i run? a specific ems, hondata, crome, neptune? what does h-t suggest?

Sounds like a beast.

I'm not really a tuner although I'm getting to that point in my reading and learning on my own. I started with Neptune RTP www.hrtuning.com they have a support forum and you will generally get a response quite quickly.

The software is pretty decent they have basemaps available for most engines if not you can kinda clobber something together and at least get your car idling in a short amount of time.

However it does help to know a person to know the computer side of things, driver issues and what not.. basic connectivity issues.

I would stick with a proven tuning setup S300 or Neptune and I'm a bit biased tword neptune although it seems there are more tuners out there that tune hondata only.

I wouldn't really say one is better then the other "comments welcome on this" but you have to choose which gets more support and my vote is probably Neptune at this point.

Good luck on your build sounds like it will destroy my h22 Hatch.

Sure,

S300 is the only option that allows you to tune it yourself. "I believe"

I would stick with either S300 or NeptuneRTP and learn how to tune since your already assembling the engine might as well learn to tune in the process.

It costs more either option but in the long run you will know so much more about fuel injection and tuning in general.
