installing clutch cable
clutch pedal makes a squeaky noise everytime i depress the pedal...
i think its the clutch cable, so i was thinking about replacing the clutch cable.
has anyone does this before? what are the steps required to replacing it, and how hard is the install?
thanks

install is simple. disconnect cable end from pedal. up top under your dash. disconnect from clutch arm. pul out. wont take more then 2 min if you know how to do it 15 min if you have no clue what i just said............
i usually have somebody press the clutch pedal all the way. and then put something small inbetween the clutch arm and the front crossmember then let go of the clutch.. this will take all the tension off the cable and then it'll just slide right out and the new one will slide right in
of course you do. the cable will either pop out of the firewall or unscrew 90 degress and pop out (from the engine bay side that is) and then when you install the new one its reverse of taking it out.

first i would do what i said and wedge something between the clutch arm thingy and the crossmember so the tension is relieved.. then unhook the cable from the pedal.. and i'm almost positive that it just pulls right out of the firewall .. then take it off the trans. it's easy
