Hi i was wondering what upgrades would make my gsr swap accelerate faster? I'm interested in acceleration more so than top speed, so if you have anything to add please do thanks!

 

u should port out the vtec pressure switch so vtec hits harder

then maybe an intake manifold, CAI, cams, and exhaust manifold.

but definity port the vtec pressure switch first

 

i was gonna post this question up earlier lol, cuz im stuck on a gsr or save up a bit for a type r motor. but ya i was wondering on how to get low end power from the gsr, considering i have a b20 right now and i want the acceleration to b as good as the b20. anyways i was thinking a cold air intake, lightened flywheel, and a im? just my thoughts.

hes messing with u buddy. Research nitrous for the next 2 weeks then buy u a kit and hopefully buy than youll understand u need a few more goodies to go along with it or figure it out the hard way

you should already b plenty fast on the low end...i would say check your timing, make sure your timing is dead on.

 

its a 2000 civic si with gsr b18c swap and a y80 lsd tranny

 

You want to accelerate faster start by putting more proformance parts in your motor and you should accelerate faster. Easy

Greddy turbo kit should do the job for you but with 310cc injectors you will still be running lean on 6-8 psi so make sure upgrade to 550cc or so.

 

you need dragon tears, they make your gas tank turn into a jet engine.

 

havent taken it yet, was gonna wait till i got this all setup n everything and then get it tuned.

is there anyplace online you guys suggest to get a turbo kit? ive looked a tad on ebay but im sure you guys know somethin better. So better fuel injectors, what else? Would i need lower compression pistons? The gsr is already pretty low and only 8psi of boost you think itd be ok?
