Default 1990 crx shocks question

ok so i traded my da9 for a mint crx si,the only issue is the suspension the guy cut the springs more then halfway so they rub like crazy when i try putting a spare tire.Thats how bad it is.so ive been looking on craigslist and the local forums for crx suspensions and nothing so my question is what other cars can i borrow suspensions from and what would i have to change?like for example my friend is parting out his dc2 and he has som kybs on tien coilovers he say the might fight with ef forks is this true?any other setup?

Yeah I was told with ef forks they would fit,but on the faq on this section says eg/dc forks would fit, does it mean I can use both or one is wrong?
