OK so i recently had my license suspended and my friends and family are urging me to give up my type r based on the fact its yellow and draws too much attention. I purchased the car about a year ago and have only put around 6k on it. Its just about all stock beside H&R lowering springs and intake. Check engine light is on but all it is is a o2 sensor code. (bank 1)
The title is rebuilt or reconstructed BUTT i had absolutly no problem getting it registed and insured in my great state of Massachusetts.
Im more looking for a TRADE then to sell it outright. Looking for either a s2000, a CLEAN GS-R, or another type r thats NOT yellow. If i had to but a price on it i would say 10,000. Thank alot of looking and if you are interested text me and i will give u more info. Pics arent that great, just some i took quick one day. I have owned this car since April 2009, I flew to Memphis, TN to acquire it from a cool guy who had it after his close local friends had owned it. I love this car to death but I think I need to get a TSX to balance a Family life and car driving fun in to 1 stock vehicle. I have refused to cart my daughter around in this car. I am not dieing to sell it, I do not need to sell it, just seeing if anyone can give it a good home just as i have. Carfax shows no accidents and nothing but registrations, titles, and servicing at dealerships.

2: AC Blows Cold!

The Bad:
1: Driver side door panel where your arm fits like an arm rest has weird looking crack pattern under the vinyl, no surface damage though, seems to be something that happens a lot with the vinyl covered door panels on hondas
2: Engine Mounts Make the inside vibrate at idle. I will say that it adds to a fun drive when spirited driving is occurring with how the car feels and shifts.
3: Body has had minor PDR work done, the body is strait though, no dents, or dings.
4: Code 9 for CYP sensor, needs Dizzy to rectify the cel but it drives fine regardless, this sensor is for "cranking car"

Up for sale is my flamenco 01 ITR #018 it has 69k original miles. Im the 2nd owner i bought the car 2 years ago from a good friend. The car does have a clean blue title. The inside is super clean minus the driver floor mat is pretty haggard, the outside is pretty clean few dents and dings here and there but overall its not bad. The motor is sleeved 2.0 with sc61 and built head. Car made 390whp on 15lbs a while back! Built motor has about 7000 miles on it.

No A/C, no back seats, one wheel is curbed but not bent and very fixable, the car was broken into outside my house and my ecu/hondata was stolen however i have 2 ecu's one with s100 and one with s200, you can choose between those if you like but the car will come untuned!!!!

It would be very easy to change this to a street car with a simple seat swap as the vehicle retains power steering, locks, windows, and A/C.
This car is the culmination of years and years of working on Hondas. It comes from a corral of cars owned by my friends and myself that are simple and fast while maintaining stock-like reliability. This car was built with points to spare for NASA's TT program, competing in TTD at a race weight of around 2510 lbs. As you may guess, there is still a large amount of weight that could be pulled from the car. This car has been on the podium in every event it has been entered in, winning 3 of its 4 events. Dedication to detail and hard work have paid off in the form of this success and will continue to serve the future owner well.
This car can be viewed any time in person at my house in Lexington, KY. It is garaged away from the elements at all times, so the only time it sees any precipitation is when in tow or on the race track. If Lexington is far out of your way, please get in contact with me as this vehicle will be attending events in the future that may be in your area. I'm positive that we can arrange something to allow you ride along if you wish to do so.
Asking price for the whole setup with spares is $14,600. This will get you a vehicle ready for anything you throw at it. Throw a $600 bolt-in cage in it and go wheel to wheel racing if you'd like. I am confident that this setup will perform very well in the hands of any competent driver.
I've listed the modifications below with a conservative estimate of their used values in parenthesis.
