Default RPM/Throttle/Brake Loggers

Is there some sort of module out there that be tapped into the RPM signal wire that can log RPMs? Something that would log it and could export it out to an Excel file or something that I could eventually get the data into an Excel file? The units would need to be a universal system I think since it's for a bike.

I'm interested in the same thing for throttle position & brake pressure. The throttle wouldn't be bad since it's just a wire on the bike and the brake could be logged via a pressure sensor on the caliper or something.

I've figured out how to cheaply ($60) log some GPS data that includes: track position tracing, speed, g-forces, altitude, bearing, split time, elapsed, lap numbers. I can then get it to be animated so I can overlay it onto my videos. Now I just need to see if it's possible to get the RPM/throttle/brake also which would make it pretty damn sweet I think.

I can post a video of my latest track day along with part of the GPS stuff will be up in a few days if you're interested. It's just that the amount of information and math behind the scenes is simply insane so it's taking me awhile to figure this out the 1st time.

Ok, you can disregard the above if the answer to this question is "yes".....

Do you know if newer bikes (specifically '08 R6) are have OBD2 like cars? I haven't had time to check the bike out but I'm doubting it has this port.

Assuming my bike doesn't have the OBD2 connector; is it possible to wire one in? Basically find the appropriate wires that I want to monitor and tap into them? Or am I'm being a simpleton with that idea and the plug would have to be wired into the ECU from the factory i.e. not possible?
