well a few days ago the light has not come off even when the emergency brake is released could it be a bad wiring in the sensor thingy or my brake is actually stuck when driving there doesnt seem to be any friction holding the car

 

yeah mine does that every once in a while. I think that they loosten up after so many miles or if they have been jerked on. The wire for the sensor just connects to a metal tab that contacts another piece when you lift the ebrake. It may bee loose or bent or something causing it to have contact all the time. Shouldn't be anything too crazy.

 

Cluster light also comes on if low on brake fluid - check this ASAP.

 

Check your brake fluid in your brake fluid reservoir.

i thought i had a busted switch once, took it all apart then realized it was just low fluid

As you drive and your pads wear down, more fluid is sucked from the reservoir into the system, which can cause the reservoir to run low.
