Default auto To- 5speed To- B series * questions *

The car is a 1992 civic eg 4 door That was converted to a 5 speed...

The car was given to me as a shell...
I swap a 97 ls long block and converted the
Obd2 dizzy plugs*
Injectors
alternator
To obd1
The car starts up but goes on limp mode because of the
Crank sensor ...* did a lil search and ended up getting a obd1 dizzy * and I still get the check light..smH.. changed it to a nother good dizzy and still same thing...

The wire harness im using is a obd1 5speed single vtec
Can that be the problem?
After a auto is converted to 5 speed is there wires that need to be cut on the ecu plug side???
Am I using the wrong motor harness??

Help please...

If you know the distributor is good theres either a wire broken or shorted between the distributor and ECU.

the car is unmolested and has 87k miles i really don't think that might be the problem... but if it is how do I go about checking it?..

check for continuity on the distributor plug side and on the chassis side of the engine wiring harness, then on the repective wires on the chassis side of the wiring to the ecu side.

just did it in my buddys 92 eg hatch, used a obdII gsr engine wiring harness on a at first completely stock 1999 b20z (with obdII injectors, dizzy, and alt), Now its a b20/vtec. All 94-01 (obdI+II so take ur choice) integras engine harness will plug directly into a 92-95 civic.

What u have should work fine, check the wiring like sleeper said. U could unravel ur wiring harness and look for wire damage but be sure to seal it all back up nicely
