piston,piston ring, rod bearing replacement
ok so i took out my pistons and rods along with rod bearings but as i was taking off piston 3(last piston i took off), an extra rod bearing fell out. i'm curious and just wondering if theres suppose to be an extra. oh btw my rod bearing count is 9???
If you removed all four rods you should have 8 bearing. make sure that all of the bearing are identical. There are thrust bearing on the sides of the crank and of coure you have the main bearing which have oil channels cut into them as oppose to the rod bearing which are smooth.
