i don't care if i get flamed for this...but if you publicly admit you'd consider buying stolen ****, then F*CK YOU!!!!
THIS is the reason why an R, a hybrid, whatever you drive in our hobby gets stolen everyday... people like this are willing to buy them...and even announce it for the chronics to hear!!!!.......sorry guys, but i'm pissed about hearing about stolen R's every week...and now some guy is even getting shot at in another post

Yeah, I see alot of people in the classifieds selling all of a car except the traceable parts, but yet when I ask for a VIN, I get a threatening IM or something...asking if I am a hero or something...I jsut think the forums need tighter policing, and I am also aware that they cannot police a forum such as teh classifieds completely.

he claims he owns a ITR, and its his own transmission for sale, and that because its his own, he rips off any vin tags so no one will ever find out his VIN #
then I saw once a genius who shows a block labeled "b18c5" and tries to pawn it off as a jdm motor
this stuff is funny at first, but it loses its humor quality rather quickly.

...no matter what, there will always be people who steal, and people who buy. 
in the end, it will be up to each of our own individual integrity wether or not we can live with ourselves, buying and using stolen parts....one day it might be you, your sister, your brother or worse. payback is a bitch, and it WILL come, in one form or another...oneday.
...best we can do is be responsible buyers and ask the right questions. i cannot say how sad i feel everytime i hear and read about an R or someone's project taking a final fall before its time...all because of the indifference of one human being to another.
it is unfortunate that the hard work, time and money someone has put in their ride can be degraded by lesser individuals who don't give a f*ck ....god save that person if they get caught by an owner oneday who feels the same....

people that buy "hot" stuff are fucked up. cuz they are encouraging folks to steal cars for parts. i will never keep these crooks in business! i hope everyone else doesn't either!
