My 'Milano Red' em1
Hey guys, haven't really posted much on here about my car. So here is a thread showing what my 2000 civic SiR has gone through in the past 4 months.. ha
Four months ago I made the decision to purchase a used vehicle. I work at Honda, and owning two(96 Ls integra, 92 civic SiR) prior to working here made me want to buy another one knowing I would have no limitations to getting oem parts and possibly a great deal on a car. First weekend of April came by, a 65 year old elderly woman came in to trade here civic for an Insight. The second the car entered the drive thru it had to be mine.. I purchased in the following Wednesday. This is what she looked like the day of purchase.

So with this car being bought and having the intentions of having it a stock reliable Honda, I drove it for a whole 2 weeks.. then decided against having this amazing platform stay stock. So I ordered some suspension to start off the build. Function Form type 2 coils, Tanabe front and rear under braces, Skunk 2 upper front control arms, Blox lca's, Comptech subframe brace, Suspension Technique rear sway bar and front + rear Benen two hooks.

Also purchased a Bride low max seat and a Sparco 4 point harness.

and after everything here is how she looks.

Soo with the previously owning two Honda's that came stock with B series engines I was very familiar with the b16a2 and knew exactly were I wanted to do with the power adders. Boost.. I boosted both the b18 and b16 and was more than pleased with the performance. I went out about looking to piece together a kit, Luckily I got a steal of a deal on a kit and got to use some of my previous turbo parts.

I dont plan on making to much power with the set up want to make around 350whp off the .50 trim. But with adding boost I decided to raise the car up for the reason of it being a DD!!
Hopefully I will have the car low again sometime. This is the car current day.
