Hello,

I'm having a problem with my 06 Civic EX misfiring. When it's accelerating it will misfire and cause the car to temporarily lose power and shudder. Recently it's started to get worse and it will trip the check engine light so it starts flashing. When this happens the engine still seems to idle fine, but I can put the peddle to the floor and won't have enough power to keep it going much over 15MPH. I'll stop, turn the engine off, start it back up and it will run OK for awhile again. It'll still misfire, but at least I can go normal speeds.

I've brought it to the Honda shop where they verified the coils and plugs were good so the engine had good spark. Told me they were showing a fault on the fuel injector on cylinder 3 and that would be the next thing to replace, so I ordered a complete set of injectors and replaced them all. Also, replaced all the plugs just to be sure and I'm still having this problem. Car is pretty much undriveable because I never know when the light will start flashing and cause me to need to pull over.

If anybody knows something that might help me with this or which direction to go please let me know.
