Default Exhaust for a B16a2

Hello! I'm from Spain and i have a Eg6 B16a2 with stock header, stock cat, and stock cat-back and i have some questions, i hope one of u can help me

Im thinking to upgrade this part with this:

Megan SS 1 Piece Race Headers (http://www.meganracing.com/products/...=10&input.y=16)

Then i'm thinkin to stay with the stock cat (any knows the size of stock cat???)

And later put the Buddy Club Spec II (2.36 or 2.38?)

The question is, the megan headers will fit with stock cat? and buddy club spec II will fit it too without problems?

And the other question is, if header have 2.25 collector, stock cat (2.25 too?), and cat-back have 2.36 inch, i will have backpressure? or i will get some gains?

Thx to all, srry for my english

dont bother upgrading your headers if you're not going to upgrade the cat. The stock cat is so restrictive i'm not sure you're going to gain much if you keep it.

do it all in one go bro fitment should be exactly the same as stock. would the spain civic's be a US or japanese Release...? if its us built youd hav to extend the cat to reach the headers...

hav a look at your stock headers the standard ones are long in the 2-1 section
extending under the car, japanese ones are short by roughly 200mm to 300mm.

just get em, fit em... if no good find out what you need to do put the old ones back on get organised and get what ever you need to do sorted...

and with the exhaust get 2.5inch or front pipe leading into the resonator at 2.38 and after the resonator 2.5 through a 2.5inch muffler
thats how mugen rolls

It's not a jdm, i'm sure...

But the Megan exhaust it's for USDM cars, then cat will fit ok with that headers, the problem will be with Buddy Club Spec 2 because it's a jdm exhaust

cut it down or extend it either way unless its all from the same country your gunna hav fitment issues.

i had to cut my cat-back down by around 200 300mm partly because the headers i were given are for audm theyre too long which also put my oxy sensor directly under the rear engine mount bracket.

so i suggest jump under ur car take a measure its pretty noticable the difference in length with the headers...
