Default mini turnbuckle?

what i need is something that will function as a turnbuckle in the push orientation, as i need to hold something down from the top, and there is nowhere to mount anything underneath and pull.

I also need an eye on both ends, one for a bolt to go through, and the other for a pin to go through with a c clip on the end. does anyone know where i can get a tiny turnbuckle, or have any other ideas for something that will work?

i've tried drilling a bracket, but without fancy equipment i can't seem to get the measurement perfect enough to hold it down and still fit. any help is greatly appreciated.

how about a threaded Heim joint at both ends of a rod. Sounds about like what you described. like one of the radius rods on a traction bar setup only smaller in size.

thanks guys. I wasn't able to find anything small enough for what i need, so i might just weld it shut. this was the last option i had, as i wanted to be able to sell it later if i had to, unwelded, but i might just keep it. who knows.. thanks for your help guys!
