I had a local hydraulic company make mine, but what I did was get my fitting with about a 1.5" hardline between the fitting and the hose, flared the fitting on, and then bent the master cylinder hardline to about 165-175 degrees, and the slave at about a 45 degree angle. The line was around 4 ft long and I just stuck it up in there.

You can get the fittings from summit or the like and do it yourself though.

You're building a muscle car of shorts, don't cut corners. Buy the proper pieces. That clutch will be burning before you know it, and then the car is a lawn ornament.

I bought the techna-fit one, it was a waste. Quality is marginal and later found out the OEM one is steel lined anyway, so you're not really upgrading it, just changing it out. When i rebuild my motor, I will probably put the OEM one back in. If you're talking about the entire clutch line, including the hardlines, then yes, you can custom fab up a kit, but for a street motor is hardly worth doing unless you're looking for more bling.

Just rubber I believe..

OP, check out AN fittings on summit or ANplumbing.com. Both sites have every thread/hose adapter and the hose you'd need to do this job. Expensive little fittings though..

And in case you're wondering, you can get rid of the little dampener type thing in the stock line. It's not required.

Edit: didn't realize summit was already mentioned.. oh well, TWO recommendations. It's gotta be good.

90% sure, same as the brake lines; 5th gen anyway. I'll have to dig through my box of parts to find it and take a closer look. The techna-fit I'm pretty sure is just one of their brake lines that is somewhat close in length that they market as a clutch line replacement. It is a bit longer than the stock line and included the mounting point for the brake lines that doesn't really fit anywhere for the clutch line so it just kind of hangs there for no reason.

Thats silly. I can't s tand when companies do that.

And as far as I can remember (which isn't far these days) The stock line is 2 layers of rubber sandwiching a woven sleave of thread. But that might be 4G or 3G so I may be wrong.

Either way it is worth it go get a line all the way from the master to the slave. Getting rid of the damper IMO is worht the price of the line. What a pain in the *** that thing is.

Thats just a union, its not necessary though, you can get rid of that and the damper (circle thing) bolted on to the frame.

Might do something to the fluid pressure too, by changing the diameter of the line, but it's nothing to worry about.
it also has to have a rubber hose at some point to compensate for engine movement.

i had mine made at a local car quest and it was leaps and bounds better than the line i bought from king motorsports. Be sure to run a -3AN line if you plan on completely replacing the factory setup.

Yeah, a friend of mine on his 5th gen had that problem, went through the wilwood backpressure valve and everything and still had trouble. But he finally listened to me and just replaced the line

Good thing he knows I'm smarter than him.
