Hi I was just wondering is it okay to run injectors without resistor boxes for the h22 motors? Just wondering before I rewire my harness for it due to that i hear you need resistor boxes for h22's thanks guys! would love the help from you guys out there!

 

depends on which injectors you plan to run

 

obd1 h22 injectors need resistor boxes if im not mistaken and the obd2 h22 injectors dont

 

Correct. There's something weird with the '96 injectors though, when Honda switched over to OBDII (but still on the h22a1, not h22a4) so technically they're OBDII but need the resistor box. Check part numbers and you'll be fine.

 

hmm was planning to run rc 440 injectors....but is it okay to run the h22 without resistor box?

 

are the 440s saturated or peak & hold?

 

What motor specifically is this and what ECU are you using?

 

injectors are high resistance and saturated.. motor is jdm h22a and using p28

 

saturated injectors do NOT require a resistor box

as for your h22 injectors, if they accept the obd2 clips (newer style) then they also do NOT require the resistor box

if they use the obd1 clips, then yes they need a resistor box as they are peak & hold injectors

 

thanks for the info..i think imma just use the 440 rc saturated and run obd1 clips

 

if you have the obd1 h22 injectors and they are in good shape would you wanna sell them i need a set
