Default !98 Accord Overheating please help

i have a completely stock 98 accord, it tends to overheat when im at a complete stop, once i start to drive the temp goes down. i noticed that the fans dont turn on, so that led me to believe that the problem must be that. the fans only turn on when i turn the ac on, which i know thats normal. i changed the fan switch( the one thats on the thermerstat housing). I also took the thermerstat out. and i changed that little one wire sensor thats srewed onto the head. i thought it might be the fan relay, so i switched the horn relay with the fan relay, and the horn worked. im stumped. can someone help me please.

no no no... fans should turn on when ideling, driving etc. when the car gets up to operating temp they turn on... so when you start your car... let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes if they dont turn on theres something wrong.

short out the swtich at the t-stat, if they run the wiring, fuse, relay, and motor etc is good. if they dont, its the switch.

yeah i let it sit for like 25min, and they still didnt turn on, then the car started to overheat little by little. someone told me that the thermerstat lets the fan switch know when the fans to turn on, im wondering if thats correct.

if the ac turns them on, the circuit should be okay. if they don't turn on due to coolant temp, that sounds like the thermoswitch, but you say you've replaced that. unplug the switch and jumper the leads to see if that tuns the fans on. since you have a new switch, check to see if there's more than one fan relay and look into that. If not, try testing wire continuity for breaks in the thermoswitch wiring.
