I got the Bosch +4's yesterday for temporary use until the NGK Platinums came in. Big mistake. THEY SUCK *******.

The car didn't feel any better from the second they were in. I thought it might be my wires, so I put the stock wires on. Still the same. So I just let the car sit, didn't really need to go anywhere.

Today I drive to get some lunch and the car starts studdering a whole bunch...almost whip-lash studdering.

So I will suck it up and spend the $54 at the dealership for the NGK's...screw special order items, I can't wait until the 18th for them...

Basically: BOSCH is meant for VW's and BMW's...not Hondas. I should have listened to a few of you when you said they were sh*tty...but I figured they would suffice for temporary use...guess not. I am now going to urinate on them and return them

 

the question is... why did you get the +4s and not the regular bosch plugs which
probably would have worked fine.

 

The only plugs they had at my friend autoparts store was the BOSCH +4's or Autolite

Plus they were free.

 

with plugs.... I'll just stick with stock plugs they work best.

I've heard more bad things about Autolite than I have BOSCH...but after this experience you are right...I should have

On a similar note, why do so many newish VW products have brake lights out after a year or two?

I don't know why people have problems with other plugs??? I've used the +4 for about three years now and have put in multiple sets over that time and they worked flawless. My car runs mint. What part # did you use?

I have never seen this many spark plug posts on HT.

Checked mine the other day, 20K miles and they looked great

eh. ill stick to the $1.39/ea. NGK-R variety at Discount.

 

Remember, you are stock. I wished plugs lasted that long in my motors.

You just didn't get the right type of plugs, plugs are plugs, there is no such thing as "THESE ARE BETTER THEN THOSE..." I wish there was a rolling eyes emitiocon.

 

Next time you change your oil filter and air filter go to a Chevy dealer. That is all they will have!............

Do not kill Bosch! Know how to pick the right plugs...........

i've had my +4's for 65K KMs and they work fine...

are you sure u got the right part #?

not saying they know what they are talking about but acura told me that those bosch +4 plugs dont work well in the Integra... who know's if their full of **** or not. I have them in my car now. probably for 20K or so... I'm going to swap them out for NGK i think. Cars starting to feel a bit boggy down low and just doesnt feel upto it's potential. It's a on/off thing, i dont know....
