I have a 1998 honda prelude.
Every time i rev the car up and let the rpms go back down the car either shuts off or rpms go really really low and it almost turns off.
It also does it while i'm driving.
It doesn't do it as much when the car is at normal operating temp but when its cold it does it alot.
It also has some trouble starting sometimes.
I think the cat could be clogged up but i have no clue.

 

Why dont you do about 30 seconds of research on the Prelude area of this website. And you will find it. There are more than 1 million threads on it.

 

Clean your IACV, throttle body, and check your cat. But ya theres alot of threads on this just look around.

Thank you guys. I just gutted my cat. problem continues. i'm going to clean the iacv and check out problems from there.
