will 92-95 civic clutch kit work for my 99 civic ex?
I previously owned a 94 civic hatchback dx all stock engine and tranny. I bought an Exedy replacement clutch kit for it but then ended up selling my hatch. I now own a 99 civic EX coupe and am wondering if i can use the replacement clutch that i originally bought for my hatch on my new civic?
Dude this is like the same question that I asked yesterday for the same motor and an exedy clutch kit. Only my kit is for a 2001-2005 (d17a1). My kit won't work for my car
so onto craiglist it goes!!

bummer man, yeah i had a hatch before and i bought all this stuff for it and then sold the car and i had all these leftover parts, but im slowly learning that they all fit on my new civic so im super stoked about it cuz now i dont have to lose money and deal with shipping and pay pal and stuff
The disc and pressure plate for an '01 - '05 are the same actually, not sure about the flywheel and throwout bearing. '90 - '91 use the same clutch as well but use a different throwout bearing.
Ok now I'm confused. The clutch alignment tool that I got from autozone for my 92-95 civic has 19 splines and doesn't fit inside of my exedy disc(exedy Part number KHC08) but when I look up the part numbers for the clutch kit on autozone.com and oreillyauto.com they are the same for 92-00 and 01-05. weird. So will my exedy kit(01-05) work with my d16z6?

As I said in my last post yes, again i'm not sure if the throwout bearing and flywheel are the same, but the disc and pressure plate are.
For sure they did.
I'm not sure about the bearings either so I just sold the kit on CL and am ordering the correct part number for my car.
