I know it is under the dash on the drivers side. When i turn the key a relay clicks but it is black and i was told to look for a brown or gray relay. The relay that clicks is also in the fuse box under the dash so there are no wires coming out of it, it just plugs in. The car is a 99 civic si and i know others have boosted them so can you help me out? Thanks

 

i think it's the main relay

mine was up the hood lock under the dash...

The fuel pump relay is part of the main fuel injection relay located on the passenger side dash. Open the passenger door and pop the panel that it hides and it's right there.

I spoke to soon. I can't find anything that looks like that in my car. I took the back seat out to look at the wires on the pump. They look to be 18 gauge wire and the wire you showed me is the same as my friends 94 integra and his is like 14gauge. Anyone with a 99-00 civic si help me out?

 

I posted above where it is. It's a black box with a white end about 2 x 2 inches. The wire you're looking for is a green/yellow wire. It's behind the panel that sits flush with the passenger door when closed so you have to open it to get access to the panel. Right next to the far right air vent on the passenger side if that helps.

sorry i missed your post. I did some looking on some other site's and they said it was on the passenger side also. I will look tomaroow to see if i can find it. Sorry didn't mean to ignore your post.
