5th Gen OBD1 Swap Help!
hey guys, i did a jdm obd1 f22b1 swap into a 5th gen OBD2 car. the only way for it to work is either swap over a OBD2 oil pump housing and bolt up the 2 sensors needed there OR get a OBD1 H22/H23 dizzy and extend the 4 wires from the oil pump to the dizzy.
I choose to use a OBD1 dizzy and extend the wires. seemed like a little bit easier to do, BUT i have a problem now. for some reason the car keeps throwing a CODE 15. (Ignition output signal) I can NOT find out what the issue is. I swapped out EVERYTHING.
NEW:
ignition switch
coil
tried BRAND NEW and 2 REBUILT dizzy (autozone dizzys but still should be fine)
double checked the wiring, but i can NOT get rid of this code. the car starts up FINE, but give it a min at idle and it will slowly cut off. i checked for power at the ECU and it shows I'm getting power on the YELLOW/GREEN. which should be the IGN Output signal
ANY HELP OR ADVICE WOULD BE GREAT. thanks guys

have you checked the FAQs to make sure you're doing everything? i had to do the OBD1 conversion, and everything you said sounds like everything. i'd check there.
