cleaning carbon build up
tried doing some research about this and i couldnt get much. just found people trying to clean their pistons tops
what my question is: What can I do to clean out my ports without having to disassemble the motor? My goal is to clean out the exhaust & intake ports, and combustion chambers.
Ive used seafoam everyonce in a while. but i always still have build up on the exhaust side. how many treatments of this would it take
thanks in advance

Just use good gas and motor oil, make sure the motor doesn't burn oil or run rich. I heard you can steam clean the motor a little if you dribble a tiny bit of water into the motor, but if it blows up, you didn't hear that from me.
Don't seafoam the motor too much. You can dry out seals and make things worse. Once every 15000 miles is sufficient.

yea once in a while for me is like once a year if that..
and lol about the steam clean.. i did my engine bay and the outside of the motor with a steamer.. but that sounds dangerous doing it internally... atleast with the motor assembled.
seafoam still scares.. so i was wonderin if theres any other methods. i dont like using additives or extra crap.
as far as what goes into my motor.. i use to use royal purple MO until i started having some oil pressure issues on a previous setup. problem was fixed when i went to mobile 1. stayd with that ever since. and tranny is stricky honda mtf. I am extremely particular about my motors
